Biography

Matthew Kolb is a devoted leader at Real Life Ministries Church in Post Falls, Idaho, where he contributes to the church community through roles in Hospitality, Small Group leadership, and coaching. Alongside his wife, Nancy, he actively advocates for biblical marriage and financial principles. He also is a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) assessment facilitator. He and his wife volunteer weekly at their local Union Gospel Mission.

Currently pursuing a chaplain designation with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, Matthew has completed Spiritual & Psychological First Aid and the Sharing Hope in Crisis Seminar as part of his training. His commitment to service extends to disaster recovery, where he volunteers with Samaritan’s Purse, working alongside Nancy to support those in need.

A seasoned traveler, Matthew has participated in mission trips to Haiti, Kenya, and Israel, reflecting his passion for global outreach. He is dedicated to disciple-making and is involved in various projects inspired by Nehemiah 8:8, aimed at helping people understand and engage with scripture through books, calendars, journals, and more.

Having faced a personal battle with prostate cancer nearly a decade ago, Matthew shares a message of hope: regardless of one’s journey with the Lord, those who seek to discern Gods hand at work in their lives will surely find it.

Outside of his formal ministry, Matthew enjoys the outdoor lifestyle that North Idaho offers, including fishing, hunting, gardening and most everything outdoors. He is also a journeyman beekeeper, producing honey marketed under the brand “Cor Duh Lane Honey Co.,” which has garnered a loyal local following. Additionally, he is a co-inventor of a roofing product with over a dozen international patents to his name.

Matthew and Nancy are blessed with seven daughters and eight grandchildren, enriching their lives with family and faith as they continue their journey together.
